Everything about The American Bladesmith Society totally explained

The American Bladesmith Society is dedicated to preserving the ancient art and history of crafting hand forged knives.Established in 1976 with four members, its ranks have grown to approximately 1400 members, worldwide, as of the end of 2006.
   Now established as an educational group, the A.B.S. is listed by the U.S. Government as a 501 (c)3 corporation and teaches all aspects of bladesmithing at the William F. Moran School of Bladesmithing in Washington, Arkansas in connection with Texarkana College. Through an established program, bladesmiths may be certified at Journeyman and Master Bladesmith levels.
